Low-Budget Corporate Gifts Under ₹300: Useful Picks at ₹100, ₹200 and ₹300
Useful branded gifts for employees under ₹300, sorted into ₹100, ₹200 and ₹300 tiers, with two-item combos and how bulk discounts and GST affect the final cost.

A sub-₹300 budget can still buy a branded gift people keep and use, even when you are ordering for 300, 600 or 1,000 employees. The short answer: a sublimated ceramic mug, a laser-engraved metal mobile stand, a steel bottle or a cardholder-and-pen set all fit the band today, and so do several simple two-item combos. This guide sorts the picks into three tiers (under ₹100, ₹100–₹200 and ₹200–₹300) and shows how bulk discounts, GST and packaging change what you actually pay. Every Printing Labs catalogue price includes standard logo branding and excludes GST.
When a sub-₹300 gift is the right call
A low-budget gift is not a compromise when the occasion is about reach rather than depth. The goal is a small, useful object with your logo on it in every hand, not a hamper on a few desks.
Situations where a sub-₹300 gift makes sense:
- Large headcounts: plant and shop-floor teams, retail staff, field sales, warehouse and support teams across several cities.
- Event return gifts for office staff: annual day, family day, quarterly town halls, sports days and financial-year kick-offs in April.
- Campus hiring and intern batches: a branded item for every student who attends a pre-placement talk.
- Two-tier festive gifting: a token for the wider workforce at Diwali, alongside a larger hamper for a smaller group.
- Conferences and dealer meets: registration-desk giveaways that travel home with attendees.
It is the wrong call for key clients, work anniversaries and leadership gifts. There, a single sub-₹300 item can read as an afterthought.
One rule holds across every tier: one useful, well-branded item beats three flimsy ones. People keep a mug they drink from every day. They throw away a plastic trinket by Friday.
Gifts for employees under ₹100
The under-₹100 tier is mainly for event giveaways and second items in a combo. On their own, these products read as promotional merchandise rather than a gift. That is fine for a conference, but less so for an employee thank-you.
The two strongest picks:
- Tea & Coffee Coasters are branded by sublimation, so your logo and brand colours print in full colour. They earn their place next to a mug, and they work well as a chai-break set.
- The Premium Mouse Pad - 3mm thickness is also sublimated. It has one of the largest print areas in this tier, enough for a full brand graphic, a campaign line or your company values. It sits on the desk all year, which makes it good visibility for the money.
Other catalogue items in this band:
- Classic Metal Ball Pen and Metal Ball Pen - O-Style, both laser-engraved
- Premium PU Leather Metal Keychain, with the logo laser-engraved on its steel logo plate
- Mobile Pop Socket, sublimated
- Multicolour Lanyards and Pin Back Button Badge for events, both sublimated
For a registration desk, a lanyard and badge cover the event itself. For something people take home, a pen or keychain lasts longer.
₹100–₹200: the sweet spot for office return gifts
This is where a single item starts to feel like a gift rather than a giveaway. For most return gifts to office staff, this tier gives the best balance of cost and use.
The classic choice is a ceramic mug. The White Coffee Mug A++ Grade - 325ml is sublimated, so the artwork can wrap around the mug in full colour rather than sitting as a small logo. It is used daily at desks and at home, and it pairs naturally with coasters.

For tech-heavy teams, the Metal Mobile Stand - Black Matte is a quieter, more grown-up pick. The logo is laser-engraved into the metal, so there is no printed layer or sticker to peel away. A phone stand stays on the desk through every video call, which keeps your brand in view. You can browse more desk tech in Tech & Gadgets.

Other items that fit the ₹100–₹200 band today:
- White Tea Mug A++ Grade - 175ml, a smaller cup for chai-first teams
- Cotton Cloth Tote Bag (DTF printing), useful for events and the daily commute
- Premium Cotton Cap (DTF printing), for outdoor events and sports days
- Classic Soft Cover Notebook (DTF printing)
- Keychain & Pen Gift Set (laser), a matched two-piece set within the tier
₹200–₹300: gifts that feel like a proper present
The top of the band buys items that look and feel more substantial. These work for appraisal-season thank-yous, long-service teams on the shop floor, or a Diwali token for a large workforce.
The Cardholder & Pen Gift Set is a strong choice for sales teams, managers and anyone who meets clients. Both pieces are laser-branded, and a matched set looks more considered than a single item at the same budget.

Water bottles are the other dependable pick. The Classic Steel Water Bottle - Black Matte is branded by laser or UV. A laser mark gives a tone-on-tone engraved look on the matte finish, while UV lets you print brand colours. People carry bottles from home to office to gym, so your logo travels too. The full range is in Drinkware.

Also in the ₹200–₹300 band today:
- Sipper Aluminum Water Bottle - White and Smart Temperature Insulated Bottle - Black (laser or UV)
- Adjustable Metal Mobile Stand – Black (laser)
- Wooden Texture Diary (laser), a good eco-leaning option
- Reversible Laptop Sleeve Cover (DTF printing)
Two-item combos under ₹300 that feel like a set
A combo looks deliberate when both items share one use, such as the desk, the tea break, writing or the commute. Two unrelated items in a bag feel like leftovers.
These pairings add up to under ₹300 at today's catalogue prices, before any bulk discount and before GST:
- Chai-break set: White Coffee Mug A++ Grade - 325ml with Tea & Coffee Coasters. Both are sublimated, so the artwork can match across the two pieces.
- Desk set: Metal Mobile Stand - Black Matte with Premium Mouse Pad - 3mm thickness. The engraved stand and printed pad cover two desk zones.
- Writing set: Classic Soft Cover Notebook with Classic Metal Ball Pen, a practical pick for campus hires and new interns.
- Event bag: Cotton Cloth Tote Bag with Premium PU Leather Metal Keychain, useful for town halls and family days.
- Sports-day set: Premium Cotton Cap with Mobile Pop Socket, light and easy to hand out outdoors.
If you want a printed note inside, the Thank You / Welcome Card - 4"X6" is a low-cost way to add a message from leadership. You can assemble any of these combos yourself in Build Your Box.
Bulk tiers: what 200+ units does to the ₹300 band
Large headcounts are where low-budget gifting gets more room. Most Printing Labs products carry quantity-based discounts:
- 3% at 25+ units
- 5% at 50+ units
- 7% at 100+ units
- 10% at 200+ units
This matters at the edge of the band. For example, a selection that lists at ₹320 per unit comes to ₹288 at the 10% tier, and one at ₹330 comes to ₹297, both before GST. Items listed just above ₹300, such as the Foldable Metal Mobile Stand – Black, can therefore come inside the band at 200+ units, provided they carry the standard tiers. Your quote confirms this.
The same logic gives combos more headroom. The combos above already fit at list price. At 200+ units, they leave extra margin for a printed card or a light packaging add-on without crossing ₹300.
Two caveats:
- Gourmet food items have no bulk discount, so chocolates or dry fruits keep their list price at any quantity.
- Packs are priced item by item, so discounts apply to each line in the pack. Your quote shows exactly which lines the tier applies to.
Remember GST and packaging in the landed cost
A ₹300 budget usually means ₹300 out of the company's pocket. Catalogue prices exclude GST, so plan for tax before you shortlist.
GST varies by product category
There is no single GST rate for a mixed gift order. According to Markit Solutions' HSN 6912 listing, ceramic mugs moved to 5% GST from 22 September 2025, down from 12%. A Taxgarden explainer citing Notification 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate) also places ceramic tableware at 5%. Older pages that still show 12% for mugs predate that change.
Rates for other items in this guide, such as steel bottles, mouse pads, metal stands and leather sets, depend on how each one is classified. We have not listed them here. A two-item combo can therefore carry two different rates, and the GST invoice on every Printing Labs order shows the rate for each line.
Rates can change, so check them on the day you place the order and confirm the classification with your CA. Our GST and HSN guide for corporate gifts, listed under Related reading, explains how this works for kits.
Packaging can quietly move you out of the band
Packaging is sold only as an add-on with at least one other product, and it counts towards your per-unit cost. The Premium Packaging Card Board Magnetic Box sits in the ₹100–₹200 band on its own.
Logo branding on low-cost gifts: matching the method to the item
Each product has its own branding method, and choosing the right item for your logo matters more at low budgets.
- Sublimation (mugs, coasters, mouse pads, lanyards, badges, pop sockets) prints full colour. It suits logos with gradients or several brand colours.
- Laser engraving (pens, metal stands, keychains, cardholder sets, wood) gives a permanent single-tone mark that looks premium on metal and wood.
- Laser or UV on steel and aluminium bottles: laser for an engraved look, UV for colour.
- DTF printing on totes, caps, notebooks and laptop sleeves handles colourful artwork on fabric and soft-cover surfaces.
Whichever you choose, you approve a digital mockup before production starts. You can also preview your logo yourself in the Mockup Studio.
Stepping up: when ₹300 isn't enough
Sometimes the brief grows, for example a sales kick-off where the gift has to feel like a kit. The next step is a small ready-made pack rather than a pricier single item.
Product Card: Promotional Gift Pack
The Promotional Gift Pack sits in the ₹500–₹1,000 band. It combines a Sipper Aluminum Water Bottle - White, a White Coffee Mug A++ Grade - 325ml, a Mobile Pop Socket, Laptop Stickers - Set of 2, a Thank You / Welcome Card and a White Curves Paper Bag. If you want a different mix at a similar level, put your own selection together in Build Your Box.

Planning timelines for large-headcount orders
Volume orders run on a predictable sequence:
1. You share your logo and quantities, and receive a quote.
2. You approve the digital mockup.
3. Production takes 7–10 business days after mockup approval.
4. Delivery takes 2–4 business days by air or 5–9 by surface, shipped pan-India.
For an annual day or Diwali distribution on a fixed date, allow roughly three to four weeks from mockup approval if you ship by surface. Express production is available only on selected items, so ask us early if your date is tight.
Ready to shortlist? Download the catalogue to share options with your team, try your logo in the Mockup Studio, then request a quote with your headcount and delivery cities.
Frequently asked questions
Are the listed prices inclusive of GST and logo branding?
Every catalogue price includes standard logo branding and excludes GST. GST is added at the rate that applies to each product category, and it appears line by line on your GST invoice. Budget for tax on top of the listed figure.
How much does the price drop at 100 or 200 units?
Most products get 7% off at 100+ units and 10% off at 200+ units. Smaller tiers start at 3% for 25+ and 5% for 50+. Gourmet food items are the exception and carry no bulk discount.
Can two low-cost items go in one box?
Yes. You can pair items in Build Your Box and add packaging such as a paper bag, pen box or mailer box. Packaging is charged as an add-on, so check that it keeps the combo inside your ₹300 band.
Can I add chocolates to a gift under ₹300?
Gourmet items are add-ons, sold only with at least one other product. They have no bulk discount, so they keep their list price at any quantity. Some pairings stay under ₹300 and others do not, so check the per-unit total before you commit. If treats matter, consider moving up a band.
How long does a 500-unit order take?
Production takes 7–10 business days after you approve the mockup. Delivery then takes 2–4 business days by air or 5–9 by surface. Express is possible on selected items only, so ask us if you have a fixed event date.
