API & MCP Documentation for AI Agents

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or your own AI agents to Printing Labs via our MCP server — live catalog search, bulk pricing with GST, catalogue downloads.

The Printing Labs developer surface is an MCP server plus an HR API, which let software — not only people — search the catalogue, price bulk orders and ship welcome kits. An MCP server at printinglabs.com/mcp lets an AI assistant — Claude, ChatGPT, or an agent you build yourself — search products, price a bulk order, request a quote and book a meeting directly, without a person copying data between screens.

What the MCP server can do

Twenty-four tools are exposed. Catalogue: search-products, get-product-details, list-product-categories, list-catalogs, get-product-mockup. Pricing: calculate-bulk-price for per-unit rates at a given quantity, and get-brand-store-pricing for employee store rates. Guides: search-guides and get-guide serve the published buying guides as citable answers. Ordering and support: request-quote (returns a real Zoho estimate PDF when products and a quantity are given), request-callback, raise-complaint, track-order. Meetings: get-meeting-slots, book-meeting, reschedule-meeting, cancel-meeting. Customer account (portal token required): my-orders, my-invoices, reorder. Company context: get-company-info and get-site-info. Diagnostics: get-seo-health. HR automation: create-onboarding-drop (API-key required).

Connecting an assistant

Point any MCP-capable client at https://printinglabs.com/mcp. Claude Desktop and Claude Code read it as a remote MCP server; other clients that speak the Model Context Protocol connect the same way. No key is needed for the read-only catalogue and pricing tools, so an assistant can browse and quote immediately.

Automating employee gifting from your HR system

The HR API ships a welcome kit when a new hire is created, so onboarding gifts stop being a manual request. Connect your HRMS once and each new employee triggers a kit against a per-head budget you set, with sizes and delivery addresses collected from the employee rather than compiled into a spreadsheet by whoever runs onboarding.
