Branding & Customization Methods

Learn about our premium branding techniques for corporate gifts: Screen Print, Embroidery, Laser Engraving, and more.

Branding is how a logo is physically applied to a product, and the right method depends on the material rather than on preference. Printing Labs runs seven: embroidery, screen printing, DTF, laser engraving, UV printing, embossing and sublimation. This page explains each one, the products it suits, and how the finish behaves in practice.

Embroidery and screen printing

Embroidery stitches your logo directly into fabric — the durable, premium choice for t-shirts, polo shirts, caps, bags and jackets. Screen printing lays thick, vibrant ink onto cotton and canvas, and is the most cost-effective option at bulk quantities for t-shirts, hoodies and cotton bags.

DTF, laser engraving, UV printing and debossing

Digital transfer printing (DTF) reproduces photorealistic, full-colour artwork with unlimited colours, so gradients and detailed illustrations survive. Laser engraving burns a permanent mark into metal, wood and leather for a refined, monochrome finish on bottles, pens and desk accessories. UV printing puts full colour onto hard surfaces, and debossing presses your mark into leather and PU covers for a tactile, understated look. Embossing is the same press worked in reverse, raising the mark above the surface so it catches the light instead of holding shadow. Sublimation turns dye to gas under heat so it bonds into polyester fibres or a polymer coating rather than sitting on top — the design cannot crack or peel, and it is the method for all-over prints and coated mugs.

Choosing a branding method

Choose the method on the product page, or preview any logo on a real product first in the Mockup Studio — it shows the print area in millimetres and the branding methods available for that item.
